Pow Wow Night- Margaret L. Romero Cultural Studio, Big Pine, CA

Pow Wow Night Classes will continue unless posted for event or postponement. Dance Nights take place every Tues. & Wed. at the Margaret L. Romero Cultural Studio in Big Pine, CA at 6pm. Classes are free and open to community. Join us and get some practice and movement in during the Winter Season. All skill levels and ages are encouraged to attend.

ANNOUNCING: TAOS CAFE

WHEN: Saturday Dec. 9. 2023, 9am-4pm

WHERE: 1050 South Richards Street, Big Pine, CA

The Big Pine Paiute Elders have invited AkaMya Culture Group to sell food at their annual Holiday Bazaar. AkaMya families and volunteers will be setting up the "TAOS CAFE"

Menu will include the following;

Bison Red Chile Stew

Vegetable Green Chile Stew

Frito Red Chile Pie

Red Chile Enchilada

Pueblo Bread Loafs

Feast Cookies

Baked Good

Hot Tooloop Tea

Hot Pinon Coffee

Funds raised from this fundraiser will go towards ongoing operational costs of the AkaMya Margaret L. Romero Cultural Studio, supplies, electric bill, Quita Novi development and costs, internet, etc.
